The staff is made of an unknown element given to Ollie by the alien monks who saved, revived, and trained him. It is stronger than diamond and lighter than steal. Visually it looks similar to jade. It is also blessed by the monks and has untapped powers Ollie has yet to discover. Tattoos on his arms are from his past gang life.
